November 29 - FLI HS Paying for College Workshop
As part of the FLI HS Program, we hosted an online workshop for high school seniors on paying for college. Trevor Ramos, author of How To Get Free Money For College revealed in his talk how to attend the best, most expensive colleges in America for pennies on the dollar!
Students learned:
- How to get $10,000 to $80,000 per year in scholarships and grants to pay for college
- What you can do if you think you make too much money to qualify for financial aid
- How to ask a college for more financial aid money
- Unique programs that can save you thousands on college tuition
- The best ways to find private scholarships
This workshop was meant to help students afford the college of their choice. About 35 FLI HS participants from high schools in Indiana, Illinois, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, and Ohio attended this workshop.
