Future Institute enjoyed the opportunity to present to Chicago Math and Science Academy (CMSA) and Horizon Science Academy (HSA) McKinley Park juniors and seniors. CMSA and HSA McKinley Park students enjoyed an interactive and informational presentation, led by Future Institute Board and Committee Members, as well as CMSA alumni. Speakers shared their wisdom about college and career success; offered invaluable advice; and expressed their accessibility as mentors, college liaisons, and even potential internship employers. Now juniors and seniors are better aware of all the resources-for-success that they are armed with. These resources include: mentorship and internship opportunities; CMSA alumni points-of-contact on college campuses; access to professional development workshops and events; and overall high school-to-college transition support.
