February 17 – Voting 101 Workshop

As part of the Future Legacies Program, we will host an online workshop on voting. In this workshop,  Claire Zhu will share the results of her data driven research on youth voter turnout, including: 5 key factors that influence youth voting behavior and 5 concrete actions to improve youth voter turnout.  Julie Dunkle will share about the Youth Voter Movement, including: online resources for how to register to vote and to host voter registration drives.

This workshop is meant to prepare the high school seniors for their future. Future Legacies participants from high schools in Indiana, Illinois, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, and Ohio will attend this workshop.
