As part of the FLI HS Program, Future Institute hosted an online My College Experience panel on February 22 at 5:30 PM Central (6:30 PM Eastern). FLI HS participants from high schools in Michigan, Illinois, Missouri, Indiana, and Ohio attended the workshop.

Concept Schools
Regina Armour is the Director of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion for Concept Schools. She started as the Director of Community Engagement & New School Development nine years ago. She received her doctorate from National Louis University's National College of Education and attended De Paul University for her undergraduate education. She is a certified Evocative Coach, a protocol that helps individuals and organizations re-write their own stories that show excitement for diversity and welcomes multiple perspectives.
Daisy Medina
Academic Advisor, Latin American Recruitment and Educational Services (LARES),
University of Illinois Chicago (UIC)
Daisy Medina holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from the University of Illinois Chicago. As an undergraduate student, Daisy utilized LARES’ advising services and credits the program for her successful matriculation. Upon graduating, Daisy stayed connected to UIC by volunteering to participate in the College of Business First-Year New Student Onboarding. While there, she met with incoming students and gave them tips to improve their networking skills. Prior to joining the LARES program as a Pre-Health Academic Advisor, Daisy worked at Chicago Scholars; a non-profit organization that helps first-generation and low-income students enroll and complete their college education. Fun Fact: Daisy enjoys playing board games and is an avid foodie who enjoys exploring Chicago’s local restaurants!
