November 13, 2024 – Finding an Internship & Professional Skills Workshops

As part of the FLI Program, Future Institute will host Finding an Internship and Professional Skills workshops on November 13 at 5:00 PM Central (6:00 PM Eastern). The program participants will decide which of the two workshops to attend. These workshops are available for all FLI College program participants.

Alex Johnson created a life that embodies freedom and endless opportunity. As a social media influencer, real estate investor, and multi-business owner, Alex carved his own path without a traditional IT degree. With 13 IT certifications and experience in senior cybersecurity roles, Alex built a fully remote career, working just 3 hours daily while living his dream life and even crossing bucket list experiences like working beachside and skydiving. Alex manages an Airbnb property, runs a Turo car rental fleet, and mentors others in breaking into IT, building businesses, and leveraging AI to achieve their goals faster.

Ebrar Serpil CaputluProfessional Skills & Interview Best Practices:
Ebrar Serpil Caputlu
Salesforce Administrator, Follett Higher Education

Ebrar Caputlu is an experienced Salesforce Administrator with a strong background in both technology and education. She currently works at Follett Higher Education, where she brings expertise in creating and managing Salesforce solutions on the Sales Cloud. She holds four Salesforce certifications and has developed skills in automation, data organization, and designing user-friendly interfaces.

Ebrar has also been a Mathematics Professor at Triton College for the past 16 years and previously taught at DePaul University for 10 years, Roosevelt University for 3 years, Harper College for 3 years, Oakton College for 3 years, Truman College for 3 years, and Westwood College for 4 years. Throughout her teaching career, she has been involved in course development, faculty training, and using technology to enhance learning. Known for her organized and goal-focused approach, Ebrar is passionate about learning and helping others, leveraging her skills in both Salesforce and education to make a positive impact.
Previously, Ebrar worked as a Salesforce Career Coach at Wise Quarter, where she helped students discover career paths and develop new skills.
