Dr. Nadia Hallak Halilovic received her Bachelors Degree in Psychology from University of Illinois at Chicago, her Masters degree in Clinical Psychology (MA) from Roosevelt University and her Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology (PsyD) from Illinois School of Professional Psychology. Dr Hallak Halilovic has 8 years of experience serving in college administration roles and 14 years of experience as a Psychology Professor. Prior to taking the role as Director of Counseling and Student Affairs at East West University she served 8 years at another colleges as an administrator and Director of Student Affairs. She also has teaching experience and taught psychology at DePaul University, National Louis University, Saint Xavier University, Moraine Valley College, Le Cordon Bleu, University of Phoenix, MacCormac College, College of Lake County and Triton College. Her research interests include Marital Satisfaction, Signs of Divorce, Cultural Psychology, the Effect of Acculturation on Anger Expression, Acculturation and Assimilation amongst immigrants, and the Effect of Emotion on Marital Satisfaction amongst couples.
